Mason and David attended in User Summer School for the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory.  NHMFL currently houses the world record for a DC magnet at 45 Tesla. The User Sumer School gives early career scientists the opportunity to learn from experts in the field of condensed matter physics, hands-on tutorials with measurement techniques, and how to incorporate the NHMFL user program into their own experiments. The week was a filled with tutorials and lectures and was a great opportunity and the science applications were not limited to physics, but chemistry, biology, environmental science and geology research was also done at NHMFL.
