Dr. Charilaou, together with H.-B. Braun and J. F. Loeffler from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, wrote a chapter about skyrmion lines, monopoles, and emergent electromagnetism in the newly published book "Magnetic Nano- and Microwires.  The book can be found here.
