The Department of Physics has been awarded a STEP grant for phase II of introductory lab revitalization. We will be updating the computers, interface boxes and additional equipment for the PHYS 216 (physics II) classroom.

Last year we were able to replace outdated equipment in the Physics I lab with funds from a STEP grant. It has been extremely successful. This new equipment has provided a much better educational environment for the students who are used to working with the latest technology. Some of this new equipment will be integrated into our two large lecture rooms to provide the students with a better transition from lecture to lab.
