- Studying the elastic properties of novel magnetostrictive alloys (e.g. Galfenol) using Resonant Ultrasound Spectroscopy (RUS).
- Investigating Aluminum alloy sensitization using ultrasonic sound speed and attenuation measurements.
- Nondestructive studies of aerospace composite structures using ultrasonic Lamb and surface waves.
