Dear Physics and EESC family,

The University moved to Phase 2 and we will be transitioning to remote operations tomorrow at noon through Tuesday evening.

Classes that begin at noon or later on Monday, August 24,  will be taught  remotely. The library and Agnes Edward lab should remain opened until 1 pm to accommodate students who may need internet access for their noon classes. Our faculty will make accommodations for students to make up classes if students cannot participate in remote classes due to storm impact.

A decision regarding the remainder of the week will be made on Monday once information on the second storm is clearer. Please check the university and departmental websites for updates.

Faculty and graduate students, please,  make sure to lock all the windows in your offices and labs and disconnect any non-essential computers and equipment from electrical outlets.

Please stay safe and prepared, let me know if you need any help.

Natalia
