Student Research Opportunities

Student research is an integral part of the undergraduate and graduate experience in the Physics Department. As an undergraduate you will complete two semesters of Senior Research with a research advisor of your choosing. All of the Physics faculty are eager to share their research insights and experience, and encourage student involvement in their projects, so don't be shy about approaching the faculty with your questions.

As a graduate student on the thesis track, you will perform research as the foundation of your thesis work. You will become an expert in your field, while building a foundation for advancement to a Ph.D. program, increased employment opportunities, or advancement in your current career field.

Our students' work has resulted in publications and conference proceedings, and we are excited for you to begin your explorations with us! Please browse the list of research topics that the faculty are involved in, and the list of currently available research projects in the department is available here.
