Congratulations to Physics Graduates for Spring 2020
Wed, 05/20/2020 - 9:18pmOur undergraduates who have received a B.S. in Physics: Andre Broussard, Conner LeMaire, Jacob Echols, Joseph Enk,
and
Our graduate students who have received a M.S. in Physics: Andrew Powell, Bibek Khadka, John Miller, Keshab Bhattarai, Narendra Pant.
On behalf of your physics faculty and your fellow physics students, we congratulate you for one of the highest achievements - completing your formal education!
It is unfortunate that we cannot celebrate together in person.
Now when you have learned many generations’ knowledge and now when you have seen in the last several months how vulnerable our world is and how strong and compassionate we can be together regardless where we live and what language we speak, your energy, ideas, wisdom, and ideals are needed the most to make the world a better place.
Thank your parents, your family, your teachers, your friends and your adversaries for what you are and go to do your part. Do not despair, it will be hard at times, remember Richard Feynman:
“We are at the very beginning of time for the human race. It is not unreasonable that we grapple with problems. But there are tens of thousands of years in the future. Our responsibility is to do what we can, learn what we can, improve the solutions, and pass them on.”
